Grapefruit is a bitter fruit, but is extremely popular due to its abundant health benefits, since it is a common breakfast table fruit today.
Usually made from fermented ripe apples, apple cider vinegar is usually used to marinate meat and fish. However apart from being a good marinating agent, it helps in curing a number of health conditions. 
Grapefruit is orange like fruit related to the family citrus. The fruit is obtained from the cross breeding or pomelo and orange. The fruit looks like an orange. It is of two types: red and blond grapefruit. It contains vitamins A, B, C, E and K. The minerals present include calcium, phosphorus and potassium. The essential oils present in fruit are limonene, citral and pinene. The phytonutrients in the fruit are flavonoids, liminoids, lycopene and glucarates.

• Grapefruit is rich in vitamin C, since it is a good cure for cold and flu.
